| This paraset design came about after
a lot of experimentation.
When you switch from Tx to Rx the receiver
remains stable and on frequency.
You will note the detector is energized
ALL THE TIME.
There is no crash in the headphones when
switching between Tx and Rx .
The C2 has been tested with a 26pf
capacitor from pin 5 to pin 8 0n the 6V6 ensures stable and reliable keying
of all crystals but see also How

You may like to connect a high value resistor
(1meg ohms R10) from the Ant terminal to Gnd to remove static build up on
the antenna which is dangerous. The is particularly true when using a kite
