The Paraset Transceiver.

The Paraset was one of the first miniaturized three metal vacuum tube transceivers that was successful. Its intended use was by Britain's S.O.E. (Special Operations Executive) behind German lines during WWII.

Whether you wish to build one that is truely like the original or adapt the original, as far as the club is concerned, it does not matter.

Preferably you should use an inverter system to run the set from a battery rather than a mains supply as the original set would have been run from battery. Whether you wish to run from a 6V or 12V battery is your choice but with 6V heaters the use of a 6V battery does simplify things!
